I don't think the S2 ajax tags really cover this usecase; I think (at least for now) this issue may need to be solved with plain old JavaScript, perhaps via Dojo, perhaps via DWR, perhaps with the aid of the JSON plugin. I have a more complicated use case, but I am using the "simple" theme and returning (for now) HTML created through JavaScript (I have a row of 4 text inputs with map-backed properties) in one case, and JSP rendered through DWR in another (but no input fields there, just data in alignment w/ those 4 text inputs). d. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Now that's room service!
