It would be nice if the documentation was as CLEAR as your email. (i.e.
where to the format.money, rather then
where: format.money={0,number,currency}.
To me, coming from Unix world, means a set in which the possible values are
inside the brackets.

Rendered output:

Switch locale to Chinese (zh_CN, it's the only other
language I know, sorry), rendered output:
¥123.00
I simply don't know what else to tell you.
Wait, that isn't the right symbol. But you get the
point... ar_SA renders as:
ر.س. 123
d.
