Hi,
your help in this regard is very much appreciated.

my strutus-config entry is
<action     path="/homePortalSelection"

type="com.eurobenefits.mybenefits.view.actions.HomePortalSelectionAction"
                    name="homePortalSelectionForm"
                    scope="request"
                    validate="false">
            <forward name="homePortalNew"    path="homePortalNewDef"/>
                </action>

as you see, the forward is to a tiles definition, which looks like
<definition name="portalBaseDef" path="/tiles/layoutPortal.jsp">
    <put name="header" value="/tiles/headerPortal.jsp" />
    <put name="bottomFooter" value="/tiles/bottomFooter.jsp" />
        <put name="content" type="string"/>
  </definition>

<definition name="homePortalNewDef" extends="portalBaseDef">
  <put name="contents" value="/new/homePortalSelectionC.jsp" />
  </definition>

my jsp code looks like:

<%
  DynaActionForm form
=((DynaActionForm)request.getAttribute("homePortalSelectionForm"));
  if (form!=null){
  System.out.println(form.toString());
  }else{
System.out.println("form is null");
  }
%>

<html:form action="/homePortalSelection">

I am getting the display "form is null". Because of this, if i use
<bean:write> of any form variables, nothing is displayed.

if i forward it to the jsp straight in the struts-config instead of to a
tiles defintion, i am getting the form and the variables are displayed. so
what am i doing wrong in using the tiles definition?

Please help.

thanks
nags.
