Hi guys, Sorry to bring up an old thread but we really should get this patched - I am testing out the latest struts with rest and this causes quite a-bit of a head-ache.
I have resorted to extending Struts FilterDispatcher and putting some code to chain the request if it matches prefixes set via an init-param. I can provide a patch if necessary (not sure if it is the best way to serve static resources though).
