Hi,
Struts issue number WW-1851 is concerned with the default-class-ref
attribute being missing from the package element. The bug has been
fixed as of 2.0.9 and the fix appears in more recent versions of the
struts-core jar. However, the latest dtd at
http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/dtds/struts-2.0.dtd does not include
the fix, so validation using the standard document header fails.
Is the public dtd going to be updated, or a corrected 2.1 dtd going to
be provided any time soon?
The dtd at http://www.opensymphony.com/xwork/xwork-2.0.dtd appears to be
a valid alternative as a temporary measure. Is there any reason why it
should not be used?
