I tried the following
<s:iterator value="resultList" status="status">
<s:text name="number.format"><s:param value = "totalCount"/></s:text>
<s:set name="calcTotalDebtAmt"
value="%{calcTotalDebtAmt+totalCount}"/>
</s:iterator>
and tried to print it
<s:property value="#calcTotalDebtAmt"/>
but it shows nothing :(
