Hi Wes, thank you for the quick answer. I should have known - it's working now. The problem seems to be my web.xml. I wasn't using wildcard filtering (<url-pattern>/*</url-pattern> - this works now) - I've been mixing action and servlet (ControllerServlet) mapping which led to an explicit URL-Pattern mapping for the filter. That's probably why the styles.css URLs could not correctly be mapped. So the paths generated were correct, but the path wasn't mapped correctly as you suggested. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
