This could be a bug as well.. but I need to reproduce this to debug
something at this level.. Can you tell me which version of Synapse you
are using?

This is Synapse 1.2-beta1.
I use beta because in final 1.2 the HTTP/1.0 does not work
(http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SYNAPSE-357)
