I'm curious why Synapse project use such old version, and if there are
plans to use newer version of Spring (2.0+ maybe)?
There is no reason for us to stick with this old version.. if there
already isn't a JIRA to upgrade this, could you raise one - and may be
also comment that it works with the existing code, and if any updates
are required. Set the fix version to 1.3 and we will get that into the
1.3 release
