Hi Dan,

You cannot assure that Synapse is not locked because of a task is running,
this is because the JMS transport is using a different thread pool than the
one used to run tasks. Tasks are running on the synapse core thread pool
where as the JMS message reading process is done by the transport thread
pool.

I suspect that the JMS transport thread pool has been locked and exhausted
due to some reason. Can you please try to reproduce this and attach a thread
dump after it stops reading the JMS queue?
