Regarding the Synapse question I guess you can refer to the DBReport sample [1].
On the WSO2 ESB query, it has a statistics module shipped by default with system stats and mediation stats, you could use those components. OTOH, WSO2 ESB can be configured to report these sort of stats to the WSO2 BAM and BAM has its own reporting module too so that you could use WSO2 ESB + BAM to get your complete scenario implemented.
