Hi Jean-Paul,
if you need a reference for configuring Apache Syncope 1.1.X with LDAP,
I wrote a small post a while ago:
http://blog.tirasa.net/blogs/index.php/ilgrosso/unlock-full-ldap-features-in
To start, I want to test functionality. But when I use the csv connector, I
can't see the users in syncope console user tabs.
So, I just want to test the provisioning from a csv file in order to add the
users in groups with syncope.
Then I want to save the result in another csv file.
In order to implement your test scenario, you need two separate CSV
connector instances and resources (the former to read from, the latter
to write to).
Then you will need to setup and run a synchronization task for the
reading CSV resource: this will create (or update, if matching) users
into the internal storage.
You also have the chance to associate a user template with such
synchronization task so that imported users will have the writing CSV
resource automatically assigned, and as a result will be provisioned there.
The main log - at DEBUG level by default - to check for provisioning
operations is core-connid.log.
Configuring the CSV connector for the first time could be tricky: I'd
suggest to take a look at its configuration reference [1]; another
useful resource could be [2] that, while being targeted to synchronizing
from Active Directory and propagating to MySQL, might anyway serve as
reference for your test.
Finally, please consider that the CSV connector only supports user
provisioning, not groups.
Group provisioning is currently supported by the LDAP and Active
Directory connectors.
Regards.

Hi Jean-Paul,
What's exactly your goal ?
You want to use Syncope as IdM with which frontend or just to abstract some
backend ?

Hello
I would like to evaluate "Apache Syncope" for a LDAP provisioning
purpose and I have installed the standalone version (embedded database).
I have tried to begin with the CSVDIR Task/connector and it seems to
run (after having adapt the csv file location and a simple csv example).
But I can't see any modification of the added user in the users tab?
How can I verify that the configuration is ok?
Which log can I verify?
May I run another task.
Thanks for your response
