the process should be more or less:
1. release Syncope 1.2.0-M1 as soon as possible (we are currently
finalizing the updated release process) - probably before the end of month
2. test test test -> found some bugs
3. in the meanwhile complete the issues currently left for 1.2.0 + fix
bugs found in the meanwhile
4. depending on timings / severity of bugs found, go for 1.2.0-M2,
1.2.0-M3 or full 1.2.0
