Hi,
we have Syncope 1.2 running in production on Java 8 (+ Tomcat 7), so far
without problems.
If there are experiences about potential problems, I'd be interested.

Hi Nicola,
there should be no issue AFAICT; a while ago, Guido reported about
some troubles with Tomcat 8 [1], but I don't think they applies to
your prospected use case (JDK 8 + Tomcat 7).
Finally, I also invite you to upgrade Syncope and the AD connector to
their respective most recent versions: upgrade steps are available in
the release notes.
