Great news!
Thank you guys.

Since 2.0.0 was planned for Q1 2016 [1], do you have a new release estimate ?

Hi Francis,
it seems that being on schedule (which is already an estimate) when you cannot even rely on stable resources (e.g. when you are counting on people contribution on their spare time) is quite a hazard, so I have finally removed the release dates from [1] :-)

If you take a look at release notes for 2.0.0-M2 [2] and issues currently targeted to 2.0.0 [3], you might notice that the work left is mostly about admin console, enduser and documentation: this means that core features (the ones available via REST) are already quite stable, so you might want to start evaluating and planning against them.

Anyway, I bet we'll release the final 2.0.0 at the end of Q2, even though there is no one here that can assure that: it depends on several internal and - especially - external factors, like as having enough people willing, and under the conditions, to spend a relevant portion of their time improving and fixing.

...naturally we can speed up the whole process if people would like to land a helping hand ;-)

Regards.
