I confirm that this commit [1] made after release of Syncope 4.0.3 did
upgrade AdminLTE from v4.0.0-alpha3 to 4.0.0-rc6.
About the reported issue, please go ahead and open an issue on JIRA.
Your contribution is also naturally very welcome, should you also have a
fix for that.

Since version 4.0.4, we have noticed what appears to be a visual
regression in Syncope console.
A black background is displayed on some pages. We were able to
reproduce the issue on Windows using both Chrome and Firefox.
Steps to reproduce :
* In windows settings, disable animations effect in Accessiblity >
Visual Effects
* In syncope console, open Realms and then navigate on to the Users tab
* Page becomes completely black for one or two seconds
* Select a user and click Edit
* Popup window appears with a black background
Based on our tests, the issue seems related to AdminLTE versions ≥
4.0.0‑rc2 (ok with rc1).
