A couple of things to do:
1) (optional) For tez.lib.uris, set it to "${fs.defaultFS}/apps/tez/tez.tar.gz”
- this tez.tar.gz should come from tez-dist/target/. Given that your basic job
is working, you can ignore this for now but it is the recommended way to deploy
tez.
2) On a fresh setup, do a "hadoop dfs -mkdir -p /tmp/hive" and set permissions
to 777 for both /tmp and /tmp/hive before running any job. You should probably
check whether your setup is using a different dfs.umask that is causing write
permissions later on.
