Thanks Roger, that is the direction I have already headed for. Lets see how far 
I can go :-)
Overall, there needs to be some serious effort to simplify this whole Windows 
story for thrift, I hope it will be resolved soon.
I hope all the required Windows DLL, Windows Header files for compilation, and 
Windows compiler etc will be part of trunk and be available out the box without 
any patching in the middle etc.
