Which server implementation are you using? It sounds like you are using the TSimpleServer. We have a number of threaded implementations available.

It should be very straightforward to swap those out for the TSimpleServer, it won't require changing your application implementation code (though you'll need to ensure that any shared data structures are thread-safe).
