Hi
the important line in the error message is:

src/protocol/fastbinary.c:20: fatal error: Python.h: No such file or
directory

if you don't have python.h, it means you should probably install package python-dev

cheers,

Matthieu

I have tried many times over to install Thrift ([

I did: ./configure No problems here.

But then if I do "make", everything stops working:

If I try to install Python; I get:

     apt-get install python2.6
     Reading package lists... Done
     Building dependency tree
     Reading state information... Done
python2.6 is already the newest version.

I have been search everywhere for an answer, but nothing. I am I the only
one running into this problem? Is there a solution that exists? I am not
sure I feel my legs anymore :\

Also, I tried to install "php-dev" but I get an error: E: Unable to locate
package php-dev

I was able to install: php5-dev... Is there a difference?

Any help would be great thanks :|
