make cross -- all tests fail?

Hi,

I've installed the 0.9.3 thrift sources, and compiled successfully. I've 
run "make check" and all tests but one pass --the security test fails, 
but if I run it in isolation it passes.

However, when I run "make cross" every test fails.  Is there some 
configuration step I've missed?
