Hi all - As of https://github.com/apache/thrift/pull/2078 I will be updating the Rust generator and Rust Thrift lib to support edition 2018 only. This should also fix https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-5071. This breaking change will be shipped with Thrift 0.14.0.
If there are serious concerns with this decision, please let me know. Also note that the released Thrift 0.13.0 (both compiler and crate) support 2015. Thank you - Allen George
