Hi Jukka, I indeed did a SVN update. After your clue that the tika-core seems to be out of date, I investigated a bit further and it looks like the Snapshot repository of Apache is not up to date. When building the Tika parsers it tries to fetch the tike-core jar from http://repository.apache.org/snapshots/org/apache/tika/tika-core/0.8-SNAPSHOT/ and this one is not up to date. When building the tika-core jar myself and use that one, the tika-parsers builds sucesfully. Maybe it has something to do with my Maven config.
Thanks, Jan. ________________________________ From: Jukka Zitting <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, June 30, 2010 8:23:10 AM Subject: Re: Building Tika 8.0 Hi, On Wed, Jun 30, 2010 at 6:18 AM, Jan <[email protected]> wrote: > When I try to build Tika 8.0, i'm seeing the following errors. Did you "svn update" your entire trunk checkout before doing the build? The build output seems to suggest that you have an earlier snapshot of tika-core. BR, Jukka Zitting
