I indeed did a SVN update. After your clue that the tika-core seems to be out 
of date, I investigated a bit further and it looks like the Snapshot repository 
of Apache is not up to date. When building the Tika parsers it tries to fetch 
the tike-core jar from 
http://repository.apache.org/snapshots/org/apache/tika/tika-core/0.8-SNAPSHOT/ 
and this one is not up to date. When building the tika-core jar myself and use 
that one, the tika-parsers builds sucesfully. Maybe it has something to do with 
my Maven config.

That's unlikely since we have an Hudson CI job constantly building the
trunk after each committed change.

Did you "svn update" your entire trunk checkout before doing the
build? The build output seems to suggest that you have an earlier
snapshot of tika-core.
