Hi, Am trying to configure Solr on Tomcat and use Solr cell for indexing various binary documents. For this, I copied apache-solr-cell-3.4.0.jar and several libraries from the Solr "contrib\extraction\lib" to the lib folder under Solr home. Am able to index with this setup.
But am able to do all indexing even without the presence of apache-solr-cell-3.4.0.jar in lib folder. Do I really require this jar file and when and where is it used ?
