Tika server mode? Protocol documentation?

Hi there,

is there some documentation about the protocol used when running Tika 0.10
in server mode?.

I started

java -jar tika.jar -s 20000

...no further output...no documentation on how to use the server mode
from a client? Where is the documentation here?

In general the Tika documentation is more than poor - a shame for an Apache
project.
