Sorry, I think I spoke too soon. There is a good chance that Tika's CSV is not my problem.
I have tested out various examples -- including both simple and long, exact examples -- but have not been able to isolate the problem. So far, basic examples with newlines and "" have not caused any problems with Ruby 1.9.3's CSV.parse. > My problem is that newlines are not escaped in the CSV Metadata from the Tika > Rest Server.
