Hi Chris
Looks like I got ahead of myself and have realized a lot of extended
information is missing when using CURL -I so I've updated the TikaJAXRS
wiki to reflect this.
Tika has a lot more power re: metadata (can get attributes that must be
outside the scope of the basic header information available via CURL).
Do you know if there are plans to include url extraction in TikaJAXRS a
la the Tika standalone app? I would work on contributing the
functionality to TikaJAXRS but my Java dev knowledge extends no further
than echoing a simple Hello World message on the command line.
Cheers
Hayden

Thanks Chris.
Updates made to wiki. I've put my notes under a new heading but not sure
the best way to categorize my changes; maybe a new section such as
"Advanced Topics" is required but I'll wait for your (or others)
feedback first.
Cheers
Hayden
