Is it work creating a wiki page, and use that to track things we want to break compatibility with + backwards compatibility workarounds we want to drop?
What other areas for breaking or revamping do others see for 2.0?
There's a bunch of @deprecated bits around the parser.parse method and some of the very old non-prefixed metadata keys
