Yes, my library supports tika-app because many users are not allowed to run tika-server in their hostings/servers. The library abstracts the calls to tika-app and tika-server so I'm planning to support tika-app as long as it is supported. I have a lot of automated tests to check the same calls to both modes.
I can add a filter to strip these warnings but this is not the best solution...
