Thank you for looking into -kb! Unfortunately, Tika doesn't have a good way to handle multifile inputs/directory as input. I don't see an easy way to add treat-a-directory-as-a-file as a feature. I can think of several filetypes that have multiple files (e.g. database files) as part of a logical file and now rar... :(
