Thank you, Tilman. We got success with Beta2 now that it is available in maven central. So far our testing looks good, although our usage of Tika is limited to extracting text from pdf, word, excel, powerpoint. I am new to this community and totally understand it's based on volunteers. I would love to contribute as well as time permits :-)
