Does it make sense to use a mix of SSD and HDD in the same Trafodion or EsgynDB cluster? There might be different implementations, but for example, to bind different file directories to corresponding SSD or HDD, like in Cloudera? http://www.cloudera.com/documentation/enterprise/latest/topics/admin_heterogeneous_storage_oview.html I understand we are not supporting CDH 5.7 yet.
This is brought up by a partner, as they are deploying SSD into their clusters. If mixing is not recommended for now, any recommendation on what scenarios these SSDs could bring more performance boost than other scenarios? There could be millions of these scenarios, so just an example will be helpful. Thanks in advance. Felix
