Thanks for replying.  I fixed the problem.  I was following the 
simple-bigbank-spring sample.  Unfortunately, I must have had an older version 
of it.  I looked at the one that came with the tuscany dist and followed that.  
Now everything is working.  :-)

This issue has been fixed in 1.x branch and should be available in our
1.4 release (coming soon).
Is it an option for you to use 1.x trunk while 1.4 is not out yet ?
