We need to create components with web service bindings. We have different 
applications which will need to access each other components. And majority of 
the components of one major app would be used by one client app.

We need to release this after 6 months. So by the time 2.0 final release would 
be available?

But other major issue is if there are any bugs found in M2, during development 
of our app, they would only be resolved in the next milestone release. So i 
think we go with 1.4.
