Hi! Ah, I have been unclear: I downloaded the snapshot but then I I let maven pull down dependencies from repositories. Thus, I am not compiling Tuscany 2 myself. When trying this, I used the following environment: Apache Maven 2.2.0 Java version: 1.5.0_22 OS name: "mac os x" version: "10.5.8" arch: "i386" Family: "unix"
I do have Java 1.6.0_17 selected and installed, but Maven tells me it uses 1.5, as above. I suspect all my troubles may be related to OS X, though I do not know the reason. I should get a Windows or Linux box. I did check the Hudson report for the snapshot I downloaded and there are no tests failing, so obviously the code is working somewhere.
