not sure what you are doing. My best guess is that you use the eclipse
launch support.
If thats the case you probably miss the uimaj-runtime dependency. Try to
compile everything
with maven first, refresh all eclipse projects and start it again.
The maven build generates the MANIFEST.MF files which are needed by eclipse.
