Minor Update. Looking around, it looks like ActiveMQ is installed as a part of UIMA AS.
Although it's not certain to me at this time that runUimaClass.sh absolutely requires ActiveMQ, I am re-installing UIMA AS replacing UIMA Java Framework & SDK.
