Just how well does UIMA scale when utilized as a web service? I know that asynchronous scale-out plugin allows for enterprise level deployment, but if I were to use UIMA with the AS plugin as a web service, I would assume that the system is then limited by the web server.
Aso, can I run non-NLP code on a UIMA cluster? Like code that just replaces certain phrases with other phrases?
