did you try something like:


DECLARE InQuotes;
(SPECIAL{REGEXP("\"")} # SPECIAL{REGEXP("\"")}){-> InQuotes};


The actual rules depend on the patterns that could occur, e.g.,
different kind of quotes, quotes in direct speech etc...
