Luckmore,

There are various things you need to do to finish getting your system ready,
though they don't need to be done in a particular order. That's probably why
we don't have them in a clear order on the web site.

To have captured a base image, I'm going to assume you've already

* created at least one computer as a VM host
* created several VM computers and assigned them to the VM host
* created a management node in the web GUI (if not already done by the
installation script)

The tasks you have left are

* configure authentication for users (either via LDAP or by creating local
accounts)
* develop a plan for grouping users together (If all of your users will need
access to all of your images, this will be really simple, but likely later on,
you'll want to have more restricted access.) User groups (under Manage
Groups), Resource Groups (also under Manage Groups), and the Privileges page
are where all of this is done. Look over the documentation on granting 2
separate groups of users access to 2 different images.
* add VM computers to a computer group (if not already done)
* add your base image to an image group (if not already done)
* map the image group to the computer group (if not already done)
* map a management node group to the computer group (if not already done)
* add users to a user group
* create a node in the Privilege tree and grant that user group imageCheckOut
and add an image group with the available attribute

I hope that helps. Let us know if you have trouble finding documentation on
doing the above steps.
