I don't think so. There is no disk activity during this process as far as I remember, but I'll check again.
Thomas -- what are the specs of the machine this is running on? How much RAM in particular? How much heap size allocated to the JVM?
My development machine has 2 GByte of RAM, the JVM has a maximum heap size of 1536M. The machine is running Windows 2000. Should be plenty. You can see the number of macros in the logs. It is not a big file.
