I am having an issue with too many spot instance requests being created. When I specify 60 hadoop datanodes, the script create 100 spot instance request. Are there any work arounds for this issue I could try? Is it possible to incrementally add nodes in smaller batches? Are there any alternatives to Whirr for setting up a hadoop cluster on EC2?
