Hi Jane,
I was having the same problem too. I did a
little searching around.. and found this resource:
http://www.jroller.com/page/hexbinary/20051130
This guy implemented the same thing, and
shows how to do it in the client also. I implemented authentication in my
project using the same method, except that there was a problem with the
getHeader() call in the outHandler in the client. The getHeader() call returns
null, so I had to add the Header Element myself and add the authentication
token to it.
Let me know if you need more info.
Regards,
Rahul

Subject: [xfire-user] Question on
createing session between a client and a XFire server
Hi,
I need to create a session between a client and a XFire server. After
a user login, he can do other operations until he logoff. But I don't
know how to create such session in XFire. In Axis, I know that it put
session id in soap header to keep track of the session. In XFire, how
does it handle the session? If you know the answer, please help me.
Thanks,
Jane
