Can you tell what jvm you are using ( and OS ) ?

I think both 'HTTP_PROXY_PORT' and 'HTTP_PROXY_HOST" set to empty string "";
Since 'HTTP_PROXY_HOST" is not null, it will try to parse
'HTTP_PROXY_PORT' expecting an integer. Since it is not an integer,
it throws an exception.
I can't set the "http.proxyHost" to null, it will throw a null
pointer exception.
And even if I try to set the proxyHost to 80 (the default), I can't
connect to my web server,
