Probably a FAQ ( I searched the mail archive but couldn't see an
answer)...

 Q: If I'm using JSR 181 annotations and I have a method that returns a 
    java.util.Date how do I gain control as to how this is represented
    and mapped in the generated wsdl (ie as a xsd:date, xsd:datetime,
etc).

 There doesn't appear to be anything in the 181 spec relating to this as
far
 as I can see.
