Hi,
I am developing a program which used XFire to downloading data via a web
service interface from remote host. On our linux mechines of both sides,
we tried most tcp tuning methods and we tested with iperf. A single
client can get 32Mbits/sec.
But when we are using the xfire web service interface, we only get about
3Mbits /sec data transfer ratio.
Do I need to configure the java code to meet the rmem_max and wmem_max
that we have configured on the operating system level? Is there a
'socket buffer size" I should set to make a long distance transfer more
efficient? Where can I find the some more information about the it?
