Hi -- I believe I figured out the answer to one of my questions about whether services.xml is always required. I saw a prior posting that says it is not needed if spring is used. In my case, spring is used, and the beans are defined in applicationContext.xml.

So, I am still wondering what I am missing such that the ../services/ does not show all the defined webservices.

Hi
WSDL is generated automatically by XFire when you hit following adress :
http://<server>:<port>/<app>/services/<service_name>?wsdl
if you hit http://<server>:<port>/<app>/services/
then you see all defined webservices and links to their wsdls.

For book example url can looks like :

http://localhost:8080/book/services

Hi -- I'm new to web services as well as xfire, so this is going to sound
really dumb. If my application is running, how do I generate the wsdl in
the web browser? (There is no wsdl file in the application).

Thanks

Betty
