By SoapMessage you probably mean  object provided by axis :)
The idea of webservices ( at least of XFire ) is to not work with soapmessage :)

Maybe describe what exactly you want to do, it will be easer to tell
"how" it should be done.

In the client I would create a soap message with SoapMessage and then set
the header with some MIME info
Afterthat I put some info in the body.
