Please forgive me, I know this is probably a pretty dumb question and a
little off topic.  I've done plenty of Java, but it's all been back end
server stuff (daemons, etc) , not servlets, etc.  Anyway I was able to
successfully host some POJOs using XFire and so far it's great.  I love
the fact that it can be hosted with no other dependencies.
 
Anyway, here's my question.  the POJOs for my service need runtime
configuration options.  What is the best way for them to access their
configuration?  I'd like to just have a configuration file at the app
root under WEB-INF and not embedded in the jar that contains the POJOs .
The problem is since XFire is the actual servlet, I don't have a servlet
context to grab the file from.  What other way can I read in the
properties from the config file?
