Following your advice I implemented the schema first approach. Instead of using the schema inline, I imported it from an external xsd. That was the only change I made. Now it works properly. The correct wsdl is returned from xfire and my pojos are invoked. What remains is a bad aftertaste because I don´t see anything wrong with an inline schema, so why does it not work properly? I have no clue, do you?
